Annie Mist Thorisdottir is from Iceland's Reykjavik. She also trains and coaches in Crossfit Reykjavik, where she is also co-owner. Annie has the distinction of being only one female who has ever won the CrossFit Games two times. She came in second place at the 2010. CrossFit Games and the 2014 CrossFit Games. Annie Thorisdottir is an Icelandic weightlifter, is also an avid CrossFit athlete, is also a celebrity journalist. She became famous for becoming the first woman to have won two CrossFit Games, in 2011 as well as 2012 In addition, she is famous for winning the Dubai Fitness Competition in both 2013 and 2017. Annie was born and brought up in Reykjavik Iceland along with her parents as well as her siblings. As a child she was an avid enthusiast of fitness and sports. She took part in a variety of school activities and won a number of medals. In 2009 she first participated in the CrossFit Games in California where she performed relatively good in her first games. Annie Thorisdottir is, in 2021, was aged 31. She is 5' 7 tall and weighs about 67 pounds. Annie started CrossFit at the age of 7 in California. Annie did very well in the initial races and placed at the top of the list out of 70. However, she didn't win a title and finished the tournament in 11th place. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. For CrossFit Games under the guidance of her coach Jami Tikkanen, she placed in seconds place and won the silver medal same year. After one year of CrossFit Games, Annie won her first CrossFit Games. Her dominant performance earned her the title. Annie was a winner, having an outstanding 2012 CrossFit Games performance, became the first woman in history to have won both CrossFit Games. In 2014, Annie received a Silver medal and most recently, in 2021 she won Bronze in CrossFit Games. Annie currently coaches and trains Crossfit Reykjavik. This gym was founded by Annie. In the last few years, as an athlete Annie has been a face of various sports brands including Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Renaissance Periodization Nuun Hydration Sidekicks Yerbae, among other brands.
