Annie Mist Thorisdottir of Reykjavik Iceland is a CrossFit athlete. She co-owns Crossfit Reykjavik where she also instructs and trains. Annie is the only female in history to have won in the CrossFit Games two times. In 2010, she finished 2nd. Annie Thorisdottir from Iceland is a weightlifter, is also a CrossFit athlete as well as a popular TV personality. She was the first female winner of in the CrossFit Games in 2011, as well as 2012, and twice. In 2013 and 2017, she won in the Dubai Fitness Competition. Annie was raised in Iceland, Reykjavik along with her parents and siblings. Being a sports and fitness enthusiast since a young age she participated in various school games and won several medals. However, she didn't win an award and ended with a 11th-place finish in the event. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. The coach Jami Tikannen coached her to a second place finish in CrossFit Games, and a medal of silver in that year. It was her second year, she participated in her second CrossFit Games. Due to her impressive performance she became the first female athlete to win CrossFit Games. Annie also won in the CrossFit Games in 2012 due to her outstanding performance. She was the first female athlete to win twice in CrossFit Games at once. The silver medal was awarded in 2014. In the year 2021 she received an award of bronze at the CrossFit Games. Annie is presently a coach and trainer in Crossfit Reykjavik, which she founded. Annie has gained fame for her athletic abilities has been featured in commercials for sports products such as Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Nuun Hydration sidekick Yerbae Renaissance Periodization Transparent Labs, among other. A few thousand people subscribe to her own Youtube Channel where training videos, travel vlogs and family videos are uploaded.
