Patridge was offered a position as receptionist at Quixote Studios receptionist shortly after she relocated to Los Angeles. Patridge is well-known for her performances on Mad TV and Do Not Disturb. She was cast in August 2008 to play Megan in the movie Sorority Row. Production was completed from the end of October until early 2009, and it was released on in September of 2009. Patridge was featured on Carl's Jr. advertisements from the year 2009 until 2012. In her statement, she dispelled the rumors that her character as a character in L.A. Candy based the book of Lauren Conrad would be based upon her previous Hills co-star Lauren Conrad.
