Sara Ramirez
Sara Ramirez, a Mexican-American performer and actress, is quite famous. Her mother was her primary caregiver in the USA and she was subject to several racial stereotypes, which caused her to feel as a non-person. After entering a ninth-grade school audition where she received praises for her voice, she started to build confidence. This experience did not just help to boost her confidence, but also changed her goals in life. In 1992, she earned her degree from New York's Julliard School. When she was 23, she started her professional career, making her first appearance on Broadway in Paul Simon's The Capeman and in films with You've Got Mail. In the Broadway original production of Spamalot she portrayed the role of Lady of The Lake and won both the Tony Award as well as the praise of critics. Following that she was made the lead character the character Dr. Callie Torres in ABC's Grey's Anatomy. This led to her gaining wider fame. In addition to being a popular singer, she released a solo and an extended piece. She has also been a vocal advocate for LGBT concerns.
